Your mission

• Drive the development of a strong, community-trend-oriented NPD (new product development) plan, as well as the product strategy and portfolio management in close collaboration with the Brand Manager and Brand Director
• Conduct constantly comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends, consumer preferences, and competitor strategies. Stay always abreast of all the latest social media trends.
• Be responsible for the product briefings and the full product development in close exchange with our external suppliers, which are based and producing in Italy and Germany 
• Manage the entire product lifecycle from ideation and concept to go-to-market communication launch, monitoring performance metrics such as sales, profitability, and customer feedback- working closely together with other departments such as the Marketing Teams, Design as well as Operations
• Have regular exchange meetings with the R&D departments of the suppliers, provide feedback on test samples and ensure trendy, innovative, high-quality & quick product launches
• Design global as well as local product launches (e.g. Co-Creations) & strategies to drive significant business growth. 
• Oversee all aspects of new product development and ensure all related tasks are handled in a timely and qualitative manner (e.g. compliance check, claim substantiation, copy support, etc.)
• Have an eye on our brand & product philosophy as well as the cost of goods & profitability calculations of each product

Your profile

• Successful completion of studies in in business management/marketing or product/project related professional experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience within product development of physical products
• Knowledge of NPD processes (from idea generation to product concept to production to go to market communication) and a trackable record of successful product launches in the past
• You are passioned about makeup and cosmetics and are always updated about latest trends.
• Strategic & conceptual thinker combined with creativeness and pragmatism to getting things done (hands-on)
• Good analytical skills, very organized and structured way of thinking and working
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Safe in handling of Google Suite and MS Office.
• Strong team player but able to carry on tasks independently 
• Positive doer that is willing to take risks & think outside the box, driving product development in a proactive way
• Very good written and spoken English and German skills are required
